About The Position

TEL Staffing is looking for a Construction Superintendent to work with a family-owned general contracting firm based in Northwest Florida, that has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry. The company specializes in building & remodeling both residential homes & commercial structures, including custom homes, renovations, and commercial projects. They are known for their superior craftsmanship & personalized service, due to their strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction solutions, and for maintaining a strong commitment to their customers satisfaction. The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing day-to-day job site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with both the company quality standards & building codes. This role coordinates subcontractors, vendors, and inspections while maintaining effective communication with the Project Manager.

Requirements

Knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and site management.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and coordinate complex job site activities.
Familiarity with local building codes and safety standards.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Construction Superintendent is preferred but NOT required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate municipal inspections, material deliveries, and equipment scheduling with vendors.
Manage and supervise subcontractors to ensure quality performance and adherence to project timelines.
Develop and maintain overall project schedules as well as detailed weekly work plans for submission to the Project Manager.
Maintain a daily job site log documenting personnel, equipment usage, site conditions, and progress.
Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality assurance (QA) standards are met.
Perform routine safety inspections to minimize the risk of workplace accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Provide regular updates to the Project Manager regarding project progress, issues, and timelines.
Stay current with building codes, construction practices, and safety regulations.
