Requirements

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including installation and troubleshooting.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and directing subcontractors.
Clear communication skills to coordinate across project teams, subcontractors, and owners.
Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-driven- you don’t wait for problems, you solve them.
Tech-savvy mindset and willingness to learn new construction management tools.

Responsibilities

Oversee subcontractors, coordinate daily activities, and proactively ensure project needs are met.
Verify subcontractor work, track changes, and communicate scope adjustments to the project manager.
Plan and coordinate work efficiently, notify subcontractors in advance, and keep teams aligned.
Monitor progress daily, address deficiencies early, and uphold a zero-punch list mindset.
Partner with subcontractors to ensure proper installation, scheduling, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.
Work with the project manager to ensure seamless project turnover with a strong close-out and commissioning plan.
