About The Position

AECOM Hunt has an exciting opportunity for a Project Superintendent who will be responsible for on-site supervision of all construction activities for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Team USA. The Project Superintendent will focus on field execution, subcontractor coordination, safety, quality control, and schedule adherence. This role involves working closely with the Project Manager while serving as the primary on-site leader and point of contact for subcontractors and inspectors. The Superintendent will oversee construction and tenant improvement (TI) projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinate and manage inspections with Los Angeles County jurisdictions and local agencies, and enforce jobsite safety protocols in compliance with OSHA and company standards. Daily site walks to monitor quality, progress, and site conditions, identifying and resolving field issues, conflicts, and coordination challenges in real-time, and managing site logistics, phasing, and sequencing, particularly in occupied or operational facilities are key aspects of this role. Maintaining accurate daily reports, logs, and field documentation using Procore, and leading subcontractor meetings, toolbox talks, and coordination meetings are also essential responsibilities.

Requirements

BA/BS Construction Management, Engineering or similar curriculum and 8 years of demonstrated construction superintendent experience or AA/AS and 10 years of relevant experience or HSD/GED and 12 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Proven experience managing field operations in Los Angeles County, including familiarity with local inspection and permitting processes.
Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills.
Experience working in occupied buildings and phased construction environments.
Proficiency with CMIC, Bluebeam, BIM or other similar field management tools.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, methods, and building systems.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

8+ years of experience as a Superintendent, with a strong focus on interior renovations and tenant improvement projects, core and shell construction and general commercial construction.
