BLOX is seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Superintendent to oversee daily on-site construction operations and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company standards and contract requirements. This role is responsible for coordinating field activities, managing subcontractors and labor crews, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and project execution.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional construction or technical training preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or similar construction leadership role
Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and best practices
Expertise in reading blueprints, building codes, and managing project schedules
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schedules, and specifications
Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software
Proven leadership, communication, and team coordination skills
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Proficiency with construction management software and basic computer applications
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality standards
Travel up to 75% or more, often relocating temporarily for projects
Ability to stand, walk, climb, and navigate construction sites for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry 50–75 pounds as needed
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and active construction environments

Nice To Haves

OSHA 10/30 certification preferred or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities from project start through completion
Acting as the main point of contact for project managers, owners, and inspectors
Coordinate daily work schedules for subcontractors, vendors, and self-preform labor crews
Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, building codes, safety requirements and owner expectations
Enforce company safety policies and conduct regular safety meetings and inspections
Monitor project progress and proactively address scheduling, manpower, or performance issues
Maintain daily reports, logs, and documentation of site activities
Coordinate inspections with local authorities and ensure timely approvals
Collaborate with Project Managers to align field execution with project budgets and schedules
Identify and resolve on-site issues, conflicts, and quality concerns
Ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and building codes
Ensure work is completed to Blox quality standards and client expectations
Participate in project meetings and provide status updates to leadership
Coordinate material deliveries, equipment usage, and site logistics
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site environment
Support and promote a strong culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety
