About The Position

Construction Superintendent / Project Manager Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico Home – 90 % Traveling Kassam Construction is looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent / Project Manager to lead Hospitality renovation projects across the US. This is a senior role for someone who can take full ownership of both the big picture and day-to-day execution. At Kassam Construction, we believe great construction starts with people. Requirements

  • Willingness to Travel up to 90% of the time.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction management or superintendent roles
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and safety standards
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor relationships
  • Knowledge of construction software: Procore, Bluebeam, Project Manager.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Set and enforce jobsite safety standards
  • Run regular safety inspections and meetings
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations
  • Define scope, timelines, and key milestones
  • Build and manage project schedules
  • Coordinate labor, materials, and subcontractors to stay on track
  • Develop and manage project budgets
  • Review and approve expenses
  • Support contract negotiations and cost adjustments
  • Oversee daily jobsite operations
  • Assign work based on team strengths
  • Coordinate closely with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Manage procurement and delivery of materials and equipment
  • Identify risks early and create contingency plans
  • Adjust plans as needed to avoid delays and cost overruns
  • Maintain high standards across all phases of construction
  • Perform site inspections and address issues quickly
  • Ensure compliance with AHJ codes and project requirements
  • Lead project meetings
  • Keep clients, teams, and stakeholders informed
  • Maintain clear and consistent documentation
