About The Position

The Construction Superintendent - Painting will facilitate Painting services for core Habitat programs: Neighborhood Revitalization, Aging in Place, Veterans program and New Construction. The Construction Superintendent - Painting will handle the painting renovating or repairs according to the plans and/or scopes of work from start to finish. The Construction Superintendent - Painting will in some cases have assistance from volunteers and construction staff. Will be trained to do site visits, write up Scope of Work (SOW) and utilize current system such as Excel to document status of client jobs.

Requirements

Professional Painting Experience (5 yrs. minimum).
Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
Basic knowledge of federal, state, and local lead-based paint regulations.

High School Diploma or equivalent
5 years professional painting field experience.
5 years hands on field construction or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

Help facilitate the construction projects for the neighborhood revitalization programs to meet organizational goals.
Take responsibility from Site visit through completion - Ensure compliance with building codes
Superintendent is required to perform hands on physical tasks as needed to complete jobs that require painting and excellent stamina is required.
Maintain schedules to ensure work is performed in accordance with scope of works for all projects.
Use paint spraying rig to paint interior and exterior of homes including proper cleaning and maintenance.
Trained and proficient in creating Paint take offs.
Assist with organization’s outreach efforts as needed.
Lead/supervise volunteers/staff on site during the project.
Provide excellent customer service.
Other duties as assigned.
