We are seeking an experienced, proactive Site Superintendent to oversee day-to-day jobsite operations, manage field crews and trade partners, and ensure our projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5–10+ years of professional construction supervisory experience (experience in residential design-build environment required).
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, building codes, safety regulations, and inspection processes.
  • Proficient in reading construction drawings and specifications; experience with construction software (Buildertrend preferred).
  • Proven time management, communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
  • OSHA 10 required, OSHA 30 preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage field operations, leading jobsite teams, coordinating trade partners, and collaborating with Project Managers to drive project success.
  • Responsible for scheduling, material management, quality control, and enforcing strict safety standards across all active sites.
  • Direct daily field operations, leading carpenters and sub-trades in accordance with the "DBC Way."
  • Set clear expectations, track productivity, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee daily timekeeping, cost codes, and crew scheduling.
  • Develop and execute 2–3 week short-interval lookahead schedules.
  • Host daily site huddles, manage trade partner accountability, and work closely with Project Managers to keep projects on timeline and within scope.
  • Enforce strict OSHA safety standards and build code compliance to ensure zero-incident sites and first-time inspection passes.
  • Conduct regular quality control walkthroughs, complete punch lists, and submit mandatory daily log reports (with photos/notes) via Buildertrend.
  • Ensure all materials, tools, and staging are prepped ahead of install deadlines.
  • Maintain organized, secure jobsites and company vehicles, while acting as the professional, on-site point of contact for clients, inspectors, and vendors through project closeout.
