About The Position

This role is for a Construction Site Officer in the Security Department at Durango, the next generation of Station Casinos. The position is critical for the company to succeed as an approachable, luxury destination offering best-in-class hospitality and exciting amenities. The officer will ensure team members have the resources to provide guests with memorable moments. The role emphasizes delivering service with a personal touch and delighting others with an approachable sense of luxury. This is a temporary, unarmed position with a duration of 6-9 months.

Requirements

• Ability to subdue person(s)
• Ability to run, climb stairs, sit, stand, and walk for duration of shift.
• Ability to drag an unconscious person during an evacuation.
• Ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming registration (must be 21 years of age)
• Alcohol Awareness Certification card (must be 21 years of age)
• Valid driver's license.
• Naturally kind, inclusive, forward-thinking, reliable, passionate, and self-aware.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Security Officer, Law Enforcement or Military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responding to and assisting in all emergencies, including but not limited to fires, medical emergencies, and criminal activity.
• Patrolling and observing all public areas, Team Members service areas, and Company grounds for the safety of guests and Team Members.
• Observing, reporting and taking action as directed by the supervisor with respect to all suspicious, unusual situations.
• Documenting all incidents as directed by immediate supervisor.
