About The Position

Merrick is seeking a Construction Site Manager to provide to join our team at various project sites. This position will be located at our client sites, not a Merrick office.

Requirements

• At least three (3) years of experience in construction site management in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization and planning skills.
• Time management skills.
• Working knowledge of appropriate codes and standards.
• Ability to use computers and software for communication and reporting purposes.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all on-site management, supervision, and coordination of construction activities.
• Responsible for establishing and monitoring job site safety, health, and environmental program.
• Responsible for controlling project schedule and cost through the efficient use of all construction resources including manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Schedule and coordinate all required permit, inspection, and testing agency activities.
• Ensure the quality of field installations.
• Conduct on-site schedule coordination meetings weekly, or as required, to maintain effective communication, coordination, and schedule and cost control.
