About The Position

This position assists journeyman-level employees with the construction, installation, alteration, and repair of sheet metal products and equipment in accordance with blueprints, drawings, and work orders. The role also provides technical guidance and direction to lower-level employees. Work may be performed independently in commercial and construction settings.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred.
• One year of related experience and/or training is required.
• Experience related specifically to assembling hoods and sheet metal air-conditioning and heating units.
• Working knowledge and experience reading and interpreting blueprints accurately.
• Ability to troubleshoot service issues with systematic, thoughtful, timely, and effective solutions and procedures.
• Ability to use tools and related equipment properly and safely.
• Experience providing quality, professional customer-related services.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively individually and in a team environment.
• Ability to handle disruptions professionally.
• Ability to work independently in commercial and construction settings.
