About The Position
S. W. Cole Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Construction Services Manager (CSM) for their Somersworth, New Hampshire office, serving projects across the Seacoast region. The CSM is crucial for all aspects of construction materials testing and special inspections services, as well as the development of the Construction Services team. This role involves project management, team leadership, client relations, and business development. The position may start as an Assistant Construction Services Manager based on experience. S. W. Cole Engineering is an established, employee-owned firm with over 45 years of success.
Requirements
- Passion for and experience in construction, testing and inspections, and project management.
- Enjoy working collaboratively and mentoring others.
- Understand and apply advanced industry-related math skills.
- Understand and be able to use project management software.
- Experience managing a team of employees.
- Prior experience with and valid certifications in Construction Materials Testing and/or Special Inspections.
- Strong writing skills demonstrated in a cover letter summarizing experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
- Execute all aspects of project management including budgeting, project billing, proposals, scopes, schedules, and contract review.
- Oversee laboratory and field reports to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Manage a team of Construction Services Technicians, providing mentorship, facilitating training, and conducting performance reviews.
- Communicate regularly with current clients, maintain positive relationships, and identify business development opportunities.
- Connect with new clients to provide services.
- Supervise, train, and coach Construction Services Technicians.
