Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in building construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with the capability to lead by example.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a self-starter mentality.
  • A strong work ethic with dedication to meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to see the big picture while focusing on details.
  • Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn new software.
  • Must be able to work full-time.

Nice To Haves

  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
  • Proficiency in construction management software like ProCore, ViewPoint, or Microsoft Project.
  • Familiarity with WinEst / OST
  • A passion for innovation and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with bid solicitation, including organizing documents, engaging trade partners, and attending pre-bid meetings.
  • Generate bid listings, quantity takeoffs, construction schedules, and detailed estimate reports.
  • Contribute to bid day efforts by evaluating bids and identifying areas of risk and opportunity.
  • Participate in job cost setups, project execution planning, and check-ins with on-site field teams.
