About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is Now Hiring a Tactical Security Officer! Ready to suit up as a Construction Security Officer? What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

Requirements

You have at least a high school education or equivalent (GED) in hand.
You have at least 2 years of security experience, and at least 1 year of construction experience in a fast paced environment.
You have a valid Driver's License.
You have the ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
You have high work ethic.
You have a valid PILB in hand.
You are authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
You protect workers and visitors by providing critical access control.
You have outstanding attention to detail, as you patrol the area, keeping area free of theft, damage, injury, or threats of harm.
You observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
You provide rapid response in critical situations.
You are able to patrol the areas using the tools that can include car, golf cart, and feet.
You have the stamina to work, sit, or stand throughout your shift, and can handle any weather conditions.
You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports.
You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.
