About The Position

Boyd Jones is seeking a Scheduler to support its growing Mission Critical and vertical construction portfolio. This role is an immediate need for someone ready to do meaningful work from day one. The Scheduler will be embedded with project teams, working alongside Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors, translating field reality into schedule clarity. The work directly shapes how projects are planned, sequenced, and recovered when things shift.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of construction experience with real exposure to scheduling or project controls
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
• Strong communication skills — you know how to present, not just report
• Working knowledge of commercial construction means and methods

Nice To Haves

• Resource-loaded schedule experience
• Cash flow/forecast reporting experience

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and update baseline schedules using P6 or MS Project
• Lead weekly schedule reviews; own the look-ahead process with field teams
• Track progress, analyze variances, and surface risks before they become delays
• Translate complex schedule data into clear reporting for internal and external stakeholders
• Support preconstruction, procurement timelines, and critical path analysis
• Participate in pull-planning sessions with field leadership
