About The Position

Venturi, LLC, a Chenega Company, has an exciting career opportunity for a Construction Schedule Analyst – Advanced who will support the Missile Defense Agency and work as a senior analyst on facilities acquisition projects, providing technical support during planning, design, construction, and commissioning. Projects include military construction (MILCON) and sustainment, restoration, and modernization (SRM), to support new sites, significant additions and upgrades to existing sites, and test site development. Projects may include exterior/interior and horizontal/vertical work.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in STEM with 13+ years of relevant experience. No education-for-experience substitutions.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Secret clearance, or ability to obtain within six months of hire required
  • Successfully pass background and drug screening
  • Possess experience in schedule development and analysis related to facilities design, construction management, and construction execution.
  • Possess in-depth technical and theoretical knowledge for applicable technical and project management disciplines.
  • Capable of leading and executing analytical tasks for planning/design/construction related to the physical and natural built environments, and the administrative and mission facilities and infrastructure of the Agency.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to brief project status and schedule risks, and provide recommendations.
  • Familiarity with using standard U.S. professional office software, including Adobe Acrobat, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.

Nice To Haves

  • A professional license in a relevant technical field (engineering, construction, surveying) may be substituted for 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with construction scheduling software such as Primavera or MS Project.
  • Experience with construction risk management and mitigations.
  • Familiarity with the U.S. Military (all branches) and the Department of War (Army, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Marines, National Guard, USACE, and NAVFAC).
  • Familiarity with Unified Facilities Criteria (i.e., UFC 3-301-01, UFC 3-301-02).

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Government Project and Construction Managers to plan, develop requirements, program, design, execute, and document MILCON and SRM projects
  • Interact with and coordinate facilities acquisition tasks with the government customer, host installations, Architecture/Engineering firms, and executing agencies (to include USACE and NAVFAC)
  • Review construction schedules, develop and analyze metrics, and work with leadership to resolve schedule slips or other concerns
  • Provide input and technical guidance to design and construction agents
  • Develop project scope and evaluate technical proposals and schedules
  • Provide support and reports on project execution status, including schedules, for reviews via status meetings and targeted schedule reviews
  • Develop, prepare, and deliver comprehensive briefings for senior MDA leadership
  • Prepare project briefings in Microsoft PowerPoint and information papers in Microsoft Word
  • Provide support for other technical activities as required. Travel <30 days, domestic and international, may be required.
