We are seeking a detail-oriented and relationship-focused Construction & SBA Loan Disbursement Specialist to join our Commercial Operations team. This role is responsible for coordinating construction and SBA loan disbursements while serving as a key point of contact between borrowers, title companies, disbursing and inspection companies, contractors, and internal bank teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial loan operations or the title industry and enjoy balancing detailed documentation review with regular communication and problem-solving. This position requires strong verbal communication skills, as much of the role involves working directly with borrowers, title companies, and contractors.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of experience in loan operations, title services, commercial lending support, construction lending, or a related field.
• Understanding of construction loan documentation, disbursement processes, and title-related requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort communicating by phone with customers and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior title company experience, particularly in a commercial capacity, is preferred but not required.
• Additional education in a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review construction loan and SBA disbursement documentation to ensure compliance with bank and SBA requirements.
• Coordinate and track title endorsements, construction monitoring estimates, draw requests, construction inspection and disbursement reports, and other project-related documentation.
• Communicate regularly with borrowers, title companies, construction monitoring firms, municipalities, contractors, and internal bank partners throughout the construction process.
• Monitor construction budgets and loan advances using Microsoft Excel.
• Review construction inspection reports and funding recommendations.
• Help protect the bank's lien position by ensuring proper documentation and timely processing throughout the construction cycle.
• Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as needed.
