About The Position

HazTek is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to support large-scale industrial installation and construction projects. This position will focus heavily on field presence, onboarding activities, contractor oversight, and partnering with operations teams to maintain a safe and productive jobsite. As a Safety Manager in Niagara Falls NY, you’ll lead the charge in building a culture where safety is more than a priority — it’s a core value. You’ll work closely with project teams to ensure safe work practices, maintain compliance standards, and help drive solutions in a fast-paced industrial construction environment.

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of construction or industrial safety experience required
Strong working knowledge of LOTO, Fall Protection, Confined Space, and MEWP operations
Strong communication and relationship-building skills required
Must be comfortable working in a highly active field environment

Nice To Haves

OSHA 500 preferred
BCSP certification preferred
Experience supporting large-scale industrial or distribution projects preferred

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of jobsite safety and OSHA compliance
Conduct new hire orientations and daily safety interactions
Perform daily site walks, audits, and inspections
Support project teams with hazard recognition and problem solving
Oversee subcontractors and trade contractors
Assist with implementation of LOTO, Fall Protection, Confined Space, and MEWP safety programs
Conduct incident investigations and complete required documentation
Promote a collaborative, team-oriented safety culture across the project
