About The Position

The construction safety manager will be responsible for overseeing safety during the industrial pipe fabrication and installation of pipe and steel racks, as well as welding, cutting, torch work, and crane and rigging activities for a data center build. They expect the safety person to help shape the safety program.

Requirements

• 1-3+ years of construction safety
• Mechanical contractor safety oversight experience
• OSHA 30 construction
• Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
• Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction
• Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and regulations

Nice To Haves

• OSHA outreach training experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations
• Monitor OSHA compliance
• Upload documentation into Procore
• Daily safety reports
• Track workforce safety compliance
• Maintain safety logs and compliance compliance records
• Fall protection enforcement (CRITICAL priority)
• Provide safety training as needed
• Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety protocols
• Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence
• Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required

Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $45/HR
• Per Diem: $150/Day on seven days (must work a full work week)
• Completion Bonus: $150/month
• Pay: Weekly
