About The Position
The construction safety manager will oversee safety for structural steel on a data center project. This is a 1099 contractor position with a duration of 3.5 months, starting on May 18th. The role involves a competitive hourly rate, per diem for non-local candidates, and a completion bonus. The schedule is demanding, requiring 56 hours per week over 6 days.
Requirements
- BCSP Certification: CHST, CSP, ASP
- OSHA 30 within the past 2 years
- 3+ years of construction safety experience
- Structural steel safety oversight

Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Support incident investigations, report findings, and implement corrective actions
- Deliver safety training and orientation for employees, subcontractors, and new hires
- Collaborate with project teams to proactively identify safety risks and mitigate hazards
- Maintain safety performance, incident, and compliance documentation and reports
- Promote a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization
Benefits
- $55/HR (Local) / $49/hr (Non-local) Hourly Rate
- $125/Day Per Diem (on seven days)
- $150/month Completion Bonus
