About The Position

Join a specialty contractor supporting commercial flooring, commercial glass, walls & ceilings, doors, hardware & specialties, millwork, FF&E, and national retail fixture installation projects throughout the region. The Construction Safety Manager will oversee company safety programs, support project teams and field personnel, conduct audits and inspections, lead training initiatives, and ensure compliance across multiple active jobsites.

Requirements

  • OSHA 500 Certification
  • OSHA 30 Construction Certification
  • Minimum 2+ Years of Construction Safety Experience
  • Experience Conducting Jobsite Inspections, Audits, and Safety Observations
  • Strong Knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards
  • Ability to Travel Daily to Active Construction Sites

  • CHST, ASP, CSP, OHST, STSC, or Other BCSP Credential

Responsibilities

  • Assist and educate employees on proper safety practices, including new hire safety orientations
  • Provide detailed written reports documenting jobsite visits and observations
  • Define and document safety processes and procedures to improve departmental efficiency
  • Create site-specific safety plans in partnership with Project Managers
  • Manage electronic tracking of employee safety training records
  • Investigate accidents and incidents alongside General Contractors and project teams
  • Assist with documentation related to injured workers and return-to-work programs
  • Attend safety meetings with General Contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
  • Motivate and develop safety awareness throughout the organization
  • Partner with project management to address hazardous conditions and safety concerns
  • Develop and execute health and safety plans in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct OSHA-related safety training when appropriate
  • Stay current on OSHA regulations and industry best practices
  • Perform routine jobsite audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks
  • Support behavior-based safety initiatives and workforce engagement programs
  • Verify employees maintain required training and certifications for assigned work
  • Travel to multiple jobsites and occasional overnight assignments as required
