About The Position

The Construction Safety Manager will oversee safety for an expansion/New build for a distribution center. Provide day-to-day safety oversight for mechanical operations, including piping, HVAC systems, process equipment installation, and associated structural/mechanical components.

Requirements

• OSHA 510
• 5 Years of experience on commercial projects with a similar scope.
• Strong communication and public speaking abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
• In-depth understanding of EHS principles and construction safety regulations
• Ability to effectively communicate and enforce safety standards and best practices
• Familiarity with mechanical construction safety, particularly underground piping operations

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine safety audits, site inspections, and risk assessments across multiple project sites
• Lead incident investigations, document findings, and implement corrective actions
• Deliver safety orientations and ongoing training for employees, subcontractors, and new hires
• Partner with project management and field teams to identify and mitigate safety risks proactively
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, including incident reports, inspections, and compliance records
• Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements
• Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture across all levels of the project team
