About The Position

We are current hiring a Construction Safety Manager to join our team in Orlando, FL. The ideal Construction Safety Manager candidate will have at least 3 years of supervisory experience in the construction industry. As a construction safety manager your responsibilities are ensuring workplace safety through hazard identification, compliance with OSHA regulations, and dedication to continuous improvement of safety protocols. If you have a passion for maintaining a safe working environment and possess the necessary skills, apply now! Hours: Monday- Friday 7am -4pm, Saturday 7am -3pm. Have to report on-site daily. Scope of work: includes aerial facade removal at a convention center, tearing down of an alternate building, interior demolition, and concrete cutting.

Requirements

  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification is required
  • CPR/First Aid certification required
  • CSP certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a construction safety manager
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices
  • Ability to conduct safety audits, identify hazards, and recommend corrective actions
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and engage workers at all levels
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 510 is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular safety inspections of construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and procedures to prevent accidents and promote a culture of safety.
  • Provide safety training and orientation to construction workers, supervisors, and management.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, and incident reports.
  • Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to promote safe work practices.
  • Ensure all workers are equipped with necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and are following safety guidelines.
  • Stay up to date with OSHA regulations and industry safety best practices, and provide guidance to management on changes to regulatory requirements.
