About The Position

CDM Smith is looking for a Construction or Engineering Student Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting exciting public, federal, and industrial projects! As part of our construction management and engineering team, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals and get exposure to both field and office-based project activities. This internship is a great opportunity to see how projects move from planning and documentation to construction in the field.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
• An appropriate and valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Support construction management teams with day-to-day project activities and coordination.
• Assist with construction inspections and field observations to help monitor project progress.
• Support construction managers with project documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping.
• Assist project engineers and project coordinators with documentation and general project support.
• Gain exposure to construction processes, project coordination, and engineering practices across a diverse range of projects.
