Our team is growing: Provide’s Project team is looking for a bold, compassionate, and focused project specialist to help bring our customers’ business ownership goals to reality. In this role, you will focus on guiding entry-level construction projects, reviewing customers’ project plans, budgets, and contracts to ensure all project-related risks are considered and mitigated, and making recommendations for project capital disbursements to vendors, contractors, and consultants. As a Provide and Fifth Third Bank team member, you will be responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. You will be accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensuring that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the risk appetites of Provide and Fifth Third Bank, you will be expected to achieve results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (business, applied science, construction management, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, WebEx)
  • Ability to synthesize vast amounts of information to guide decisions
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within APEX
  • Experience managing the construction of healthcare practices and working with healthcare providers
  • Experience in SBA lending

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain performance metrics to ensure procedures and programs meet the customer’s and organization’s needs and produce the anticipated return on investment
  • Coordinate effectively across vendors and work groups to ensure the completion of multiple projects simultaneously on schedule and within budget
  • Assess a customer’s project goals and budget against their approved loan amount, the space they plan to build out, and the team they propose to work with
  • Manage a pipeline of 40 active deals in the project stage of a loan
  • Communicate the values of different project delivery types, expectations, and requirements to the customer
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on structure and risk mitigation language in design and contractor agreements
  • Establish expectations with customer teams for how the project progresses, changes in scope, and how issues will be communicated and addressed
  • Communicate with designers, contractors, and equipment vendors to assess scopes of work, and validate project budget and schedule
  • Present information and respond to questions from various business partners
  • Ensure planning is aligned with corporate guidelines and that all scenarios drive efficiency in practice planning, both from a functionality and utilization standpoint
  • Conduct benchmarking activities to identify best practices
  • Maintain accurate record keeping of all activities requiring documentation and/or associated records
  • Assume additional related responsibilities as assigned
