About The Position
The Construction Project Specialist supports construction projects from design through construction by reviewing architectural and engineering documentation, assessing project sites, calculating materials and quantities, coordinating permits and bidding documents, and preparing bid packages. The role also processes project-related payments, assembles refrigeration and equipment packages, and drafts preliminary CAD and millwork detail drawings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of full-time experience in AEC industries.
- Eligibility for legal employment in the United States.
- Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools.
- Ability to manage project schedules and documents from design through construction.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual fluency in English and Korean.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and monitor architectural and engineering drawings and documentation.
- Conduct on-site visits to assess and evaluate conditions and constraints for upcoming projects.
- Identify required materials and products and calculate quantities for procurement.
- Review and facilitate coordination of permit and bidding sets.
- Prepare construction bidding packages.
- Process project-related payments for outsourced professional services and general contractors.
- Compile and produce refrigeration and equipment packages.
- Draft preliminary CAD drawings and millwork detail drawings.
