About The Position

As a Project Manager, you will serve as the single point contact for all aspects of assigned RJS projects. Your success requires detailed industry experience and knowledge to manage projects via established internal processes on a multitude of work tasks within established deadlines. The timely performance of this work is critical, as it is generally serves as a precursor the commencement and/or performance of work at our job sites.

Requirements

  • Detailed industry experience and knowledge.
  • Established background demonstrating team leadership skills.
  • Established background demonstrating customer service skills.
  • Established background demonstrating technical knowledge of construction trades.
  • Ability to prepare and update computerized time scale network diagrams using industry standard software (e.g., MS Project / P6).
  • Current on OSHA 30.
  • Current on biannual First Aid Training.
  • Current on USACE 3 Phase QC Training.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on an understanding of construction insurance and bonding.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the unique challenges faced when performing Federal work.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the single point of contact for all aspects of assigned RJS projects.
  • Manage projects via established internal processes on a multitude of work tasks within established deadlines.
  • Lead and influence team members to work toward common goals.
  • Manage project deliverables to exceed customer expectations.
  • Understand the physical work of each trade of a project.
  • Craft, negotiate, and award thoroughly defined written agreements within project budget and schedule constraints.
  • Prepare and update computerized time scale network diagrams using industry standard software (e.g., MS Project / P6).
  • Prepare and administer site-specific project safety plans.
  • Prepare and administer site-specific quality control plans.
  • Lead and oversee project-specific administrative processes for meetings, submittals, RFIs, design changes, and other project-specific business communications.
  • Utilize RJS cost control systems to establish and accurately report on the financial status of each assigned project.
  • Administer prime contract modifications and document related effects.
  • Exercise judgment based on an understanding of construction insurance and bonding.
  • Effectively work through conflicts and disputes with project team members.
  • Exercise judgment based on the unique challenges faced when performing Federal work.
