About The Position

KONE is seeking a Construction Project Manager for the Nashville, TN area. This role involves managing commercial elevator construction projects, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring worksite safety and compliance, and identifying risks and opportunities. The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining schedules, tracking project resources, managing procurement (subcontracts and vendors), and ensuring quality throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires a proactive approach to financial management, including budget cash flow and forecasting.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant construction project management expertise.
• An appetite for learning an exciting and new field.
• Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of relevant working experience.
• Sound financial acumen, such as managing cash flow of budget and forecasting.
• Ability to pick up risks/opportunities through outlets such as contracts, on sites, etc.
• Ability to utilize a variety of tools to ensure that the scope of the project is being timelines, such as Microsoft Project or SAP.
• Passion for ensuring safety on your worksites and prepared to audit compliance.
• Spirit to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders surrounding assigned projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and updating the agreed-upon schedule.
• Tracking the status of project resources, including material and labor.
• Managing procurement responsibilities, such as subcontracts and vendors.
• Ensuring quality is addressed throughout the project life cycle through metrics and acting on punch-list items.
• Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders surrounding assigned projects.
• Ensuring safety on worksites and auditing compliance.
• Utilizing a variety of tools to ensure the scope of the project is being met within timelines.
• Picking up risks/opportunities through outlets such as contracts, on sites, etc.
• Managing cash flow of budget and forecasting.
