About The Position

SPRINTURF, a leader in synthetic sports surfaces with over 3,000 installations, is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager. This role involves planning and supervising the construction of artificial turf fields from start to finish. Projects typically last 2-10 weeks with an average budget of $500k. The ideal candidate will possess an analytical mind and strong organizational skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all requirements. SPRINTURF is headquartered in South Carolina, with manufacturing facilities in Alabama and Georgia, and is part of the PlayCore family of brands.

Requirements

• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• A team player with leadership abilities

Nice To Haves

• Prior civil construction experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Simultaneously oversee multiple projects at one time
• Identify and manage potential project risks
• Read and interpret project plans, drawings and specifications
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
• Generate submittals and other customer facing documents
• Acquire equipment and material to support the construction schedule
• Verify that specifications, contracts and proposals are all aligned with respect to scope and price
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
