About The Position

MONTICELLOAM, LLC and its affiliates (“Monticello”) is a real estate and asset-based lender providing asset management and comprehensive capital solutions for healthcare, multifamily, and commercial real estate assets throughout the US. Monticello is seeking leaders and team players who can work in a collaborative environment and possess drive, integrity, creativity, compassion, and a strong work ethic. This Construction Project Manager role is to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of a large custom home construction project. This role is responsible for managing all phases of the project—from pre-construction through final delivery—ensuring that the home is built to the highest standards of quality, on time, and within budget.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager, preferably in high-end residential or large-scale custom homes.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex residential projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • OSHA certification and a valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working with luxury homes or architecturally significant properties.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of the construction process, including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and quality control.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, engineers, and the homeowner to ensure project goals and specifications are met.
  • Prepare and manage project timelines and budgets; track progress and report on milestones and any variances.
  • Obtain permits and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
  • Coordinate site logistics, material deliveries, and subcontractor schedules to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Address and resolve issues as they arise, keeping all stakeholders informed.
  • Maintain detailed documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and daily logs.
  • Manage final inspections, punch lists, and project closeout to ensure a smooth handoff to the client.
