About The Position

ELS is hiring for the position of Construction Project Manager in Capitola, California. The Construction Manager oversees construction budgets and projects throughout our portfolio. This role involves supervising the construction of site-set manufactured homes, managing project budgets and resources, rehabilitating existing inventory of homes, building relationships with managers to ensure quality standards, and supervising contractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of construction management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and drive projects to completion.
• Strong communications and leadership skills.
• Ability to define problems relevant to accounting opportunities and needs, including data collection, analysis and drawing of valid conclusions.
• Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the construction of site-set manufactured homes up to the point of being ready for sale.
• Manage project budgets and resources.
• Rehab the existing inventory of homes to ensure readiness for sale and/or rent.
• Build relationships with managers to complete home construction projects in keeping with the company’s quality standards.
• Supervise contractors.
