About The Position

We are hiring a Project Manager to deliver a complex, multi-phase project on an active college campus, coordinating with university stakeholders, contractors, and design teams to achieve scope, budget, schedule, quality, safety, and sustainability goals. You will lead preconstruction through closeout, ensuring minimal disruption to campus operations and a best-in-class student, faculty, and community experience.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Engineering, Construction Management or similar curriculum and 6 years of relevant construction project management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Nice To Haves

  • 6 years of experience managing building construction projects.
  • Proven success delivering vertical building projects.
  • Command of cost control, schedule management (CPM), risk management, and change management.
  • Experience with owner’s rep / project management in multi-stakeholder environments
  • Proficiency with Procore, BIM 360/ACC, P6/MS Project, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in project delivery from planning, design, and procurement through construction, commissioning, and handover.
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and change control with transparency and discipline
  • Coordinate daily with critical personnel to minimize disruption.
  • Drive phasing and logistics for occupied environments, including swing space, noise/vibration constraints, and pedestrian/ADA routes.
  • Oversee contractor performance, submittits/RFIs, quality, safety, and compliance with codes and university standards.
  • Participate in OAC meetings, progress reporting, action logs, and decision tracking; maintain a clear risk register and mitigation plan.
  • Manage change order negotiations
  • Track cost control (estimates, cash flow, contingency, allowances).
  • Coordinate MEP/utility tie-ins, shutdowns, and safety plans; oversee commissioning/functional testing and readiness
  • Ensure documentation and handover (as-builts, O&M manuals, training) and drive a smooth occupancy.
  • Promote sustainability and resilience goals (e.g., LEED, WELL, energy/carbon targets) and track them through delivery.
  • Communicate proactively with campus stakeholders and maintain a strong issues/decisions log and user engagement.
