About The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our growing team! This role will be responsible for managing rigging, equipment installation and erection projects in the Industrial Market Segment. With the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis, the Construction Project Manager will be responsible for the direction and performance of all aspects of the project with the support of the project team.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree; Bachelor's degree preferred. Construction Management, engineering or other related disincline required.
  • Seven (7) to fifteen (15) years' experience in Project Management in construction or a related field.
  • Demonstrated advanced technical competency in area of expertise, independently applying knowledge to large or complex projects and guiding others in standard practices.
  • Certification in Project Management.
  • Experience in Lean Construction or similar process-improvement methodologies, with the demonstrated ability to apply continuous improvement practices to scheduling, coordination, and project delivery.
  • Experience in Industrial and Infrastructure construction is required.
  • Competent in communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to multi-task.
  • Proven success in delivering high quality projects on time and on budget.
  • Strong conceptual thinker; strong critical thinking skills and problem solving ability; able to multi-task and work under pressure; strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Construction Management, engineering or other related disincline required.

Responsibilities

  • Consults with clients to determine the functional and technical requirements of the scope of work and prepares estimates regarding labor, materials, equipment, estimated costs and construction time.
  • Responsible for projects from estimating through closeout.
  • Manages on-site construction activities ensuring the project is completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Supervises on-site staff, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Act as the primary liaison between project stakeholders, including clients, construction team and subcontractors, facilitating clear and effective communication.
  • Effectively issues change orders to clients in a timely manner and follows through with all necessary paperwork, invoicing and accounts receivable collections.
  • Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, quality specifications, and other regulations.
  • Provide safety leadership at all stages of the project from concept and design through construction and installation
  • Some travel required.
