About The Position

At IPS, we are global leaders in developing innovative solutions for the consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV of technically complex facilities, primarily in the life sciences industry. We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Construction Project Manager to join our talented team located in Blue Bell, PA. In this role, you will work on a project site, leading life sciences construction projects to successful completion - safely, on time, and on budget. Additionally, you will work with the Project Director and/or Senior Project Manager as you guide our engineering, construction management, and superintendent teams in achieving project goals. To excel in this role, you will need a strong construction background, an uncompromising commitment to safety and quality, and a focus on client engagement.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in construction management and project delivery.
  • Demonstrated significant experience managing non-residential construction projects and strong knowledge of construction management industry practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related discipline, or an equivalent technical degree.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods.
  • Must possess the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as required.
  • Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to climb ladders as necessary.
  • This position will have 25% travel, or as required by the assigned project.
  • Position may be assigned to a client site for an extended period.
  • Overnight travel or staying in the city of the Client’s location is possible, depending on the assignment.
  • You will visit construction sites and will be required to take site safety training and adhere to site safety rules.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation.
  • Must have the ability to travel and commute on a daily or routine basis.
  • Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, which may include exposure to varying weather.
  • This position is a safety-sensitive position.
  • The employee is designated for field work and attends activities at client sites where they work in construction, process, packaging, manufacturing, research, or other "non-administrative" areas.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate contractual requirements, project specifications, and design drawings.
  • Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships, procurement, billing, and cash flow projections.
  • Conduct progress measurement, earned value analysis, schedule updates, and change management reporting.
  • Prepare project documentation, including meeting minutes, monthly reports, and applications for payment.
  • Oversee contract administration, punch lists, warranty review, and as-built documentation.
  • Monitor project resources, maintain scopes of work, and communicate expectations across the team.
  • Track and report on project costs, ensuring alignment with budgets and field conditions.
  • Build and maintain client relationships and participate in schedule, safety, and quality oversight.
  • Collaborate with Project Services on cost management and support safe project execution through coordinated site oversight.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required to support successful project delivery.

Benefits

  • The salary offered for this role is between $110,000 and $160,000, but the actual salary offered is dependent on experience, skill set, and education.
