About The Position

The Project Manager oversees all assigned projects from project management through installation. You'll turn projects over on time, under budget, and at a quality level everyone involved can be proud of. You'll run several projects at once and coordinate CP Build installation crews and third-party crews, creating a "One-Stop-Shop" experience for our customers. Time is split between the office and the field as needed. You manage both the projects and the people involved in them. You carry primary responsibility for the physical and financial success of each project. You maintain and improve customer relationships and experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field or 2+ years in a similar professional role
  • Ability to self-direct and work independently within a team to see projects through to completion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 1+ year in a role requiring conflict resolution and/or customer service
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and adhering to project schedules with an excellent track record
  • Experience as a construction supply or second-tier subcontractor
  • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 30%
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion
  • Ability to see, hear, understand, and walk, with reasonable accommodations

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire project cycle for multiple projects
  • Own the contract process, including schedule, storage, onsite constraints, equipment, and payment terms
  • Provide project status updates and attend scheduled meetings
  • Coordinate and prioritize shop drawing submittments and resubmittals with the client and factories for formal approval
  • Complete SOPs accurately and verify field/site conditions
  • Resolve issues, problems, and discrepancies on assigned projects in a timely manner
  • Work with the Install Manager, installers, and onsite management team throughout the project
  • Ensure schedule timelines and project needs are met
  • Manage material inventory through ordering, shipping, delivery, and installation
  • Coordinate and negotiate rates with installers
  • Perform all warranty inspections prior to installation
  • Communicate and document project updates to internal and external customers
  • Visit and inspect construction sites throughout the project
  • Manage expectations with customers and installers
  • Improve baseline project margins and ensure all work is completed
  • Complete all closeout processes and checklists
  • Other duties as assigned
