About The Position

McCulloh Consulting is hiring for a Construction Project Manager opportunity in the Seattle, WA area. This role is ideal for a commercial construction professional who can lead projects from start to finish, manage schedules and budgets, coordinate subcontractors, communicate with clients, and keep project teams on track. We are looking for someone who is organized, steady under pressure, comfortable leading meetings, and able to solve problems before they impact cost, schedule, quality, or safety.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of commercial construction experience or an equivalent mix of education and field experience
  • Experience managing schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, cost projections, billings, and closeout
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, materials, terminology, equipment, and project flow
  • Ability to read blueprints, structural drawings, plan sets, and project documents
  • Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, vendors, field crews, and internal leadership
  • Ability to lead meetings, resolve conflicts, make decisions, and keep people aligned
  • Strong cost management, risk management, organization, and follow -through
  • Ability to manage frequent changes, delays, and unexpected job site issues
  • Ability to work independently while staying aligned with senior project leadership
  • Experience supervising or supporting Project Engineers
  • Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial construction projects from planning through closeout
  • Serve as a main point of contact for clients, architects, subcontractors, vendors, field crews, and internal project teams
  • Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, plan sets, and project documents
  • Build and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Estimate construction management and self -perform work items
  • Review, negotiate, and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Prepare project proposals, clarifications, alternates, and value engineering options
  • Support owner contract negotiations with senior project leadership
  • Review and process subcontracts, subcontractor change orders, RFIs, submittmits, change proposals, and owner change orders
  • Lead onsite meetings and prepare clear project meeting minutes
  • Identify project risks, field issues, delays, cost impacts, and safety concerns early
  • Prepare client billings, review subcontractor payments, and submit cost projections
  • Support quality control, punch list, and project closeout
  • Supervise, train, assign work, and support Project Engineers
