About The Position

Corenic Construction Group is seeking a Project Manager for their Operations department. This role is responsible for the overall direction of construction projects, acting as a key member of the Operations/Project Management Department. The Project Manager will establish project objectives and policies, maintain client relationships, and monitor construction and financial activities through on-site Project Managers or Construction Managers. The candidate will be part of a leadership team dedicated to directing the day-to-day management of the project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager
  • 5+ years of experience managing other project managers/staff
  • Prior experience with small base building (including banks, retail) and commercial base building
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to problem solve quickly
  • Excellent skills establishing rapport with clients, vendors, team members and leadership
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated experience with consistently maintaining project related paperwork
  • Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices.
  • Responsible for client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting.
  • Manage schedule, determine project objectives, policies and procedures.
  • Complete buyout of subcontractors and vendors.
  • Initiate and maintain liaison with client, architect and/or engineer.
  • Provide technical assistance with interpretation of drawings, methods and equipment needed.
  • Represent company in project meetings.
  • Prepare and submit monthly job status reports that outline project priorities and issues.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
  • Assist with preparing bids and proposal submissions to clients.
