About The Position

Seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the execution of capital projects within the Midwest Region. This role is execution-focused, responsible for taking approved and scoped projects and driving them through planning, construction, execution, and close-out. The ideal candidate is a hands-on PM who can independently manage multiple stakeholders, contractors, outages, and field activities, and deliver projects safely and efficiently with minimal oversight. This position is 100% capital charged.

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering capital projects as a Project Manager
  • Strong execution experience in detailed planning, field execution, and close out
  • Demonstrated ability to take loosely defined scope and execute effectively
  • Experience working with operations teams, field construction, contractors and vendors
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with tools like Excel, SharePoint, Maximo, Oracle

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Enbridge experience
  • Experience in pipeline, energy, or regulated asset environments
  • Familiarity with Oracle purchasing
  • Familiarity with Management of Change processes

Responsibilities

  • Lead capital projects from handoff through close out
  • Manage scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality
  • Execute a repeatable portfolio of asset replacement projects including but not limited to: Booster Pump Replacements, Valve replacements, Pressure Control Valves (PCVs)
  • Take ownership once equipment is ordered and drive projects to completion
  • Develop simplified drawing packages as required (actuators, controllers, power)
  • Coordinate closely with Regional Operations supervisors and engineers, Asset Management (ACMs), and Outage Coordinators
  • Mitigate risk through planning process
  • Lead and manage MOCs and Risk Reviews
  • Procure materials
  • Manage contractors and vendors
  • Ensure proper documentation and project close out
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and timelines
  • Identify required resources (people, budget, equipment, parts, etc.)
  • Assign tasks and ensure responsibilities are clearly understood and delegated
  • Ensure project activities align with scope, schedule, and budget
  • Ensure all POs are in and being tracked
  • Ensure all equipment needs are met
  • Manage any needed contractors
  • Communicate overall project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
  • Continual communication and check ins to action items/delegated work
  • Facilitate meetings (kick-offs, status updates, reviews, schedules)
  • Manage expectations of leadership, sponsors, and team members
  • Document decisions and maintain project records
  • Track progress against the project schedule
  • Monitor and control project budgets
  • Provide monthly forecasting to Region Accountant(s)
  • Manage resource availability and workload
  • Ensure COPAS is entered as needed
  • Work with Tech and PLM Supervisors to manage resources/equipment
  • Adjust plans as needed to address delays or changes
  • Identify risks early with team and develop mitigation and contingency plans
  • Ensure deliverables meet standards and requirements
  • Ensure all forms and documentation are filled out and filed properly
  • Close out POs and financials
  • Facilitate turnover to Operations as needed
  • Understand why we are doing the project
  • Identify who the stakeholders are
