The purpose of the Construction Project Manager is to manage the daily operations of the commercial and/or high-end residential development projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering; or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience for complex commercial, vertical construction projects, high-end residential, or large-scale master planned developments
  • 5 years+ experience supervising construction projects of increasing complexity.
  • Valid State Driver’s License
  • Strong computer skills and be able to use applicable construction management software.
  • Able to speak clearly and effectively with Members, guests, co-workers, vendors and other Yellowstone Club departments. Able to write clearly and legibly.
  • Able to perform basic math calculations.
  • Ability to solve basic problems and/or know when it is necessary to get a manager to assist in problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a general contractor to ensure that specified construction work is completed in accordance with engineer/architect’s plans, county/state regulations, and other specifications.
  • Work with owners and general contractors to ensure quality, cost, and schedule.
  • Facilitate owner and/or interior designer design decisions are made in time to support the construction schedule.
  • Ensure equipment and materials are ordered to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.
  • Monitor construction activities to verify schedules and materials.
  • Financial and document control using Procore.
  • Verify change order requests for accuracy and presentation to the owners for approval.
  • Review and process pay applications to ensure timely payment to General Contractor, Designers, and other Vendors involved in the projects.
  • Consult with the design team related to modification of plans & project scope to improve overall project design.
  • Study specifications and perform field inspections of construction activity to verify compliance with the contract documents.
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure that work conforms to specifications and that construction schedules are adhered to.
  • Document that quality control issues identified by YC staff, design consultants, and/or 3rd party inspectors are addressed and the corrections are thoroughly documented.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment and ensure teamwork within project organization, utilizing the resources needed to drive quality and value to our clients.
  • Represent the Company through professionalism, consideration, and discretion in all interactions.
