About The Position

The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and executing all aspects of Apollo Solutions Group projects, including but not limited to: Track and forecast project-level financials and report to leadership at regular intervals utilizing company financial reporting system. Coordinate and schedule subcontractors with ASG Site Supervisors and the client. Help the project development team develop the scope of work and the guaranteed maximum construction costs through site reviews, estimating and risk review participation. Produce and manage project CPM schedules. Client change order management: assemble estimates, change order proposals and negotiate with client. Manage subcontractors and vendors through effective communication, subcontract scope and change management. Negotiate subcontracts. Document and keep record of all critical project communications. Attend, lead and document project meetings. Mentor assigned staff. Manage client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction and prospects of future opportunities.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Display sound judgement, diplomacy and tact
  • Financial aptitude
  • Technical skills: interpret drawings, specifications and other technical documents
  • Manage time effectively
  • Learn and adapt quickly
  • Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)
  • CPM scheduling utilizing primavera or MS Project
  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 years of managing projects in the construction industry
