Requirements

  • Four (4) year degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field and five (5) years of relevant Project Management experience OR Nine (9) years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience managing construction projects in healthcare environments
  • Experience supporting construction-phase project delivery
  • Experience managing project budgets and financial reporting
  • Experience reviewing construction schedules and identifying critical path issues
  • Experience facilitating project meetings and coordinating stakeholders
  • Experience supporting commissioning and project closeout activities
  • Experience managing RFIs, submittals, and change management processes
  • Experience working in active healthcare facilities and minimizing disruption to operations
  • Ability to present three projects of similar size and complexity where the candidate served in a comparable role
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust (NACI)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain VA PIV credential
  • Ability to work full-time onsite in Brooklyn, NY

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with federal construction projects and VA project delivery processes preferred
  • Experience with EHRM, healthcare modernization, or infrastructure upgrades preferred

Responsibilities

  • Monitor project financial data and budget performance
  • Review monthly pay applications and construction expenditures
  • Track project schedules and identify schedule risks and delays
  • Conduct and support weekly and bi-weekly project meetings
  • Coordinate project stakeholders and facilitate issue resolution
  • Review change requests and provide impact analysis
  • Support testing, inspections, and commissioning activities
  • Monitor contractor progress and compliance with project requirements
  • Review and coordinate RFIs and project correspondence
  • Maintain project documentation and records
  • Develop and maintain Project Tracking Reports (PTRs)
  • Support preparation and submission of project procurement packages
  • Support claims avoidance, analysis, and dispute resolution activities
  • Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and action item logs
  • Provide weekly and monthly project status reports
