About The Position

LV Petroleum LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of construction and remodel projects for their growing portfolio of travel centers, truck stops, and quick-serve restaurants (QSR). The role is responsible for overseeing all phases of new construction and remodeling projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards, aligning with the company's vision for modern highway destinations. The Construction Project Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders, manage project documentation, perform site inspections, handle permits, and ensure FF&E installations meet requirements. They will also proactively identify and resolve challenges, monitor project progress, and report to executive leadership. Frequent travel to project sites is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of construction project management experience, with a strong focus on retail remodels, renovations, or commercial build-outs
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, permitting, and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Primavera, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel extensively to project sites (up to 50-70%)

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience managing remodel projects in retail, convenience stores, fuel stations, travel centers, or quick-service restaurants (highly preferred)
  • OSHA 30 certification and PMP or CCM credentials are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of new construction and renovation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and scope documentation.
  • Perform site inspections to assess progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Manage permit applications and coordinate with local building authorities and utility providers.
  • Verify that all FF&E installations meet procurement and design requirements.
  • Identify risks proactively, resolve challenges, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Monitor and report project progress and key performance indicators regularly to executive leadership.
  • Travel frequently to project locations (approximately 30–40%).
