King County Housing Authority is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Construction Project Manager. In this position, you will serve as a key member of the Asset Management team, overseeing and directing a portfolio of construction projects including new construction, renovations, remodeling, and retrofitting efforts from inception through completion across the Authority’s housing portfolio. As a key member of the Asset Management team, you will be involved from project planning through development and implementation. Your responsibilities include managing and directing subcontractors, monitoring construction sites, budgets, and schedules, ensuring compliance with project specifications and contract requirements, and collaborating with project teams to define scope of work and maintain project performance standards. You will also lead procurement processes through public competitive bidding, support contract administration, and ensure communication and documentation among stakeholders to resolve site conditions and project-related issues. The ideal candidate will possess practical, hands-on experience in construction project management, including contract administration, procurement, and cost estimating, along with the ability to analyze and interpret construction plans and specifications. This individual will demonstrate strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, and will contribute to improving construction processes and efficiencies across the department.
