About The Position

Springtide, a division of IPS, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a dynamic and skilled Construction Project Manager with semiconductor industry experience. This role will provide leadership on assigned projects, aiming to achieve financial, schedule, and client relationship objectives. The position involves planning and organizing engineering functions, coordinating client interaction, and guiding manpower and technical resource allocation. While candidates based in New York, Arizona, or California are preferred, extensive travel to project sites is expected for qualified candidates from other locations. The role will support projects in key semiconductor markets and other emerging business areas.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Construction Project Management experience
  • 5+ years of semiconductor project experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or planning.
  • Skilled in the use of IT tools, including spreadsheets, word processing, planning, and scheduling software.
  • Understanding of Earned Value and other project control methods.
  • All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually, with video required.
  • IPS will not sponsor employment visas for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Holds primary responsibility for the achievement of scope, cost, schedule, and quality objectives on assigned projects.
  • Ensures achievement of corporate goals for assigned projects.
  • Attends pre-bid meetings with clients and prepares proposals in conjunction with department heads, directors, and other key individuals.
  • Manages client interaction on assigned projects and promotes positive relationships.
  • Identifies risks to the project and corporation and works with Project Executives and the Director of Operations to mitigate risks.
  • Leads project teams of their own or led by others to a successful conclusion.
  • Coordinates with the project discipline lead to determine the scope, complexity, and planning and scheduling requirements of the projects.
  • Develops and maintains meeting minutes and Action Items/Needs List for each project.
  • Prepares internal monthly financial/schedule reports for the Director of Operations for each project.
  • Prepares monthly financial/schedule reports for the Client as requested by the client.
  • Manages all sub-consultants on the project.
  • Assists in identifying and developing innovative methods for improving project management processes and techniques against current SOPs.
  • Provides mentorship to all developing individuals within the construction project management group.

Benefits

  • The base salary offered for this role is between $163,000 and $200,000, but the actual salary offered is dependent on experience, skill set, and education.
