About The Position
Baptist Health is hiring a Construction Project Manager III to join the Construction Design Management team. This is a full-time opportunity located on the downtown campus of Baptist Health. The Construction Project Manager III will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and overseeing protocols, databases, and strategy for achieving efficient and effective cost control on large-scale construction projects, and will be a team member within the Baptist Design & Construction department.
Requirements
- Over 10 years Healthcare Construction Management Experience Required
- Over 15 years Construction Experience Required
- Over 5 years Archive Management Experience Required
- Over 5 years Design Experience Required
- Ground-up Construction Experience Required
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering Or Bachelor of Science in Construction Management Or Certifications
- Certified OSHA General Construction Required
Nice To Haves
- Certified Healthcare Contractor Preferred
- Licensed General Contractor Preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversight of contractors
- Cost estimating and cost control of large medical facility projects
- Management of all aspects of building, infrastructure, and site construction
- Engagement with and understanding of national healthcare construction codes, guidelines, and best practices
- Healthcare user engagement, administration engagement, and facilities engagement
- Coordination of medical equipment
- Management of complex interior renovations of hospital departments and greenfield project construction
- Management of consultant contracts
- Oversight of internal team members
- Develop, maintain, and oversee protocols, databases, and strategy for achieving most efficient and effective cost control on large-scale construction projects
