About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager / Estimator to oversee custom residential and light commercial construction projects from pre-construction estimating through final completion. This role combines cost estimating, subcontractor coordination, scheduling oversight, and field leadership to ensure high-quality builds are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate brings strong residential construction knowledge, financial oversight capabilities, and a proactive, client-focused approach.

Requirements

Proven experience in residential or light commercial construction project management
Strong estimating, budgeting, and project coordination skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Solid understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and scheduling
Professional client-facing communication and leadership abilities
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Valid driver’s license and ability to visit job sites as required

Responsibilities

Manage custom home and light commercial construction projects from estimating through closeout
Prepare detailed takeoffs, cost estimates, and competitive proposals for ground-up and renovation projects
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and material procurement
Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
Track change orders, cost performance, and job-site progress
Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams to manage scope, timelines, and expectations
Ensure adherence to quality standards and construction best practices
Support smooth project handoff from pre-construction to active build phase
