About The Position

AECOM Hunt has an opportunity for a Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team and support the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This role establishes operational objectives and work plans, delegates assignments to subordinate managers, and reviews objectives to determine success. The Senior Construction Project Manager develops, modifies, and executes company policies that affect immediate operations and may have company-wide effect. This role works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives and implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. The position oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle, including technical, financial, and client satisfaction, and is accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design, and/or construction management activities and personnel under their direction on a day-to-day basis.

Requirements

BS Construction Management/Engineering
10 years of relevant construction management experience
2 years of leadership or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.

Nice To Haves

Experience in retrofitting existing buildings and to fit for new purpose/use which includes structural modifications and MEFP upgrades.
Experience in management of design-build contractors
Ability to compose and buy out scopes of work
Experience with sports venues either permanent construction or temporary construction
Change Management experience – both on the cost side also in general – ability to adapt to changes in schedule and sequencing
Multiple Stakeholder management
