About The Position

Air Systems is looking for a Project Engineer to join our Construction team. This is a full-time position reporting to the Engineering and Estimating Manager. This position will be responsible for completing high quality projects within scope, deadlines, and hours while maintaining customer and project team relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for technical documentation and reporting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, paired with strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the creativity and resourcefulness to deliver results using available tools and resources
  • Collaborative team player who is flexible, adaptable, and able to contribute positively to changing project needs

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Project Management to research customer requirements, support client outreach, and align technical solutions with project goals
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with ASI clients through responsive communication and proactive support
  • Develop proficiency in engineering, estimating methodologies, and industry-specific software to support project planning and execution
  • Support Project Managers in client coordination, multi-project scheduling, equipment procurement, and preparation of design deliverables
  • Apply construction job-costing and accounting principles to track budgets, monitor cost performance, and support financial controls
  • Produce design drawings and assemble complete permit submittal packages in compliance with jurisdictional requirements
  • Prepare, track, and manage RFIs, change orders, and submittals to ensure timely resolution and project continuity
  • Perform additional project and engineering tasks as assigned to support operational and business needs
