The Construction Project Engineer will support the project based on fluctuating working hours to support execution and project timelines. This role involves providing oversight and determining contract adherence for performance, cost, schedule, and quality. The engineer will routinely monitor contract performance to ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled and key contract milestones are met. They will analyze and understand plans, specifications, and quality requirements, and support the on-site construction management team for field execution. Responsibilities include inspecting construction sites, supervising the submittal process, preparing reports and specifications, providing contract interpretation, maintaining project schedules, understanding cost and productivity data, and managing job costs and budget control. The role also involves preparing and auditing cost projections, approving invoices, coordinating commercial tasks like change orders and claims, preparing and implementing quality control procedures, acting as a liaison for quality matters, and ensuring corrective measures are implemented. Additionally, the engineer will prepare agendas and minutes for project update meetings, assist with executive presentations, review project schedules and forecasts, draft RFI and NCR responses, assist the logistics specialist with material review and inventory, and support the Project Manager's daily activities.
