About The Position

STRUCTURAL is seeking an Entry Level Construction Project Engineer for its Baltimore/Washington team. This role is primarily in-office, with some out-of-town work expected. The Project Engineer will participate in the Project Engineer Career Development (PECD) program, focusing on in-field learning and development to master critical construction skills. The goal is to develop individuals into company leaders through a competency-based approach and mentorship, building experience across multiple competencies before advancing into desired career paths such as project management or estimating. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver, thrives in a team environment, is organized, has strong time management skills, enjoys communication, and is safety-focused.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or higher
  • A minimum of one relevant internship experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional documentation and organizational skills
  • Aptitude for solving problems
  • Reliable transportation from the office to job-sites
