Construction Project Engineer
About The Position
Estes Construction is seeking a full-time commercial construction Project Engineer. This is a post-graduate entry-level position within the Estes PE (project engineer) training program, designed to prepare individuals for careers as a project manager, preconstruction manager, business development professional, or superintendent. The program spans 3-4 years and includes 24 unique learning modules covering all aspects of commercial construction management. Project Engineers will collaborate with colleagues across departments, developing trusted partnerships while learning to lead commercial construction projects. The role involves significant fieldwork, assisting superintendents and project managers, and gaining hands-on experience in scheduling, processing change orders, quality review, submittals, RFIs, job site safety monitoring, subcontractor management, and leading meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent education and/or experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
